Saundersfoot & the local area…

Saundersfoot beach

Ivydene is a beautiful cottage, perfectly situated for our family holiday.
— Mrs D, Vale of Glamorgan

Originally developed to support the busy harbour, the village of Saundersfoot has grown in recent years to become a prosperous and popular holiday resort.

Saundersfoot's main attraction is its large south-east facing golden sandy award winning Blue Flag beach, as well as the smaller, often more secluded bays and inlets along its coastal path. There is a dog restriction on the main beach from 1st May to 30th September however, dogs are welcomed off-lead all year round at Glen beach (to the right of the harbour) and Wiseman's Bridge. Please refer to this guide on visiting Pembrokeshire with your dog.
Saundersfoot is also beginning to get a name for its culinary notoriety with a wide selection of restaurants & cafe's that can be found around the harbour and its neighbouring streets.
Ivydene Cottage is perfectly situated in the heart of the village on Wogan Terrace for your visit to Saundersfoot. Its elevated position leads to beautiful views over looking the harbour and out to sea whilst still being within close the to all amenities. With private parking at the rear of the cottage for 3 cars, you could literally decamp and unwind without needing to drive anywhere.
